The EBF-11 is a control module with a solenoid for the EBF-85 and EBF-187 and includes the solenoid valve module assembly for the specified faucets. Included within the EBF-11 control module assembly is the solenoid enclosure, solenoid body and filter cap. The assembly includes all the necessary hardware required in order to replace or upgrade your solenoid for you EBF-85 or EBF-187 style Sloan faucets. The solenoid controls the flow of water within the faucet, when a user activates the faucet, the solenoid receives an electrical signal that causes it to open the valve, allowing water to pass through the spout. When the user removes their hands, the solenoid receives a signal to close the valve, shutting off the water flow
